| This week has been pretty good! I don't feel very stressed out, but there are still two weeks of school left, so . . . Anyway, out of complete and utter boredom, I started watching Smallville last Friday . . . I was instantly hooked!! I've watched almost two whole seasons in a week!! I should finish up the second season tonight! I have two more seasons to watch . . . hopefully this won't interfere with my school work! Anyway, I think I'll go watch an episode . . . Oh . . . and good job on decoding this message!!

| I had a lot of fun yesterday!! I went over to my sisters' apartment and we worked on their little yard. We went to Lowe's and bought a whole bunch of flowers, some tiki torches, and a tree! Then we went to town on their garden. We ripped up bushes and started planting . . . I had a great time! We even got a bench . . . the garden looks great!! | | |
| I feel pretty good today . . . this week hasn't gotten any less stressful than the weekend, but it is Friday . . . finally! I hate being a procrastinator!! Maybe if I stopped procrastinating, my life would be a little less stressful. I have an eight-page English paper due today by 4:30 . . . I have quite a bit of it done . . . but I still have quite a bit to go still! I sure hope I get it done . . . actually, I should be working on it now!! | | |
| So this weekend has been pretty rough for me. It all started Saturday morning. I was planning on going to a mosque and out to eat with my Perspectives class, but that fell through . . . not really that big of a deal! So, anyways, I had asked off for work, and I was pretty happy about it because I would be able to clean up my room (which was a mess from welcome days . . . disorderly and silly string all over the place!!). But then I got a call from my manager . . . the person I had asked to work denied ever having said she would work for me!! I was already pretty tiffed about the room, but this made me just plain angry!! The rest of the day went pretty much like normal . . . I tried to calm myself down by taking in the beautiful day and going out to eat . . . I was feeling pretty good by the end of the day! But then Sunday came. I woke up at about 7:20 (I had slept in Matt Price's room). I was pretty freaked out because I thought it was 8:20 after time change . . . I only had twenty minutes to get ready!! I ran upstairs only to find that someone had locked my door . . . My roommate was gone and I didn't have a key with me! So, I just figured I wouldn't have time to get ready for church so I wouldn't go. Well, I went back to Matt's room and was sitting there when the thought struck me that Matt might have changed the clocks before he went to bed . . . and I was right! Whew . . . I had over an hour to get my room unlocked and get ready! So, I tried calling my RA and knocking on his door, but he never answered . . . after over half an hour of trying to get hold of him, I just resigned my self to the fact that I wasn't going to church. Come to find out, the RA was out for a preaching trip . . . he wasn't even in his room!! Pretty frustrating!! So anyways, I finally got into my room, was able to clean it up, and I got to church! Wow, I don't think I've ever had so many things go wrong in one weekend!! | | |
| I just got back from choir tour . . . it was a lot of fun! We left last Thursday . . . wow, I can't believe it's only been a week!! It seems like so long ago! Anyways, the services went really well . . . a boy (I believe his name was Nathan) got saved which was really good!! I think the services touched many of those we were ministering to as well as many in the choir!
One thing we did as a group that I really enjoyed was we secretly exchanged gifts with our SIM (Santa in March) partners! I had so much fun . . . my SIM partner was Stephanie Whitt . . . I think I spoiled her a bit but it was so much fun! Yesterday we all got together and revealed who had who! Lynsey Stripling had been giving me gifts all week . . . I had no idea it was her! I really loved my big present . . . she got me a Slinky and a Mr. Potato Head . . . fun!!
Overall, I really enjoyed myself! There were no major fights between us which was good!! A few people got sick, but I think they are all feeling better! We just had a really great week!! | | |
